Just an update on the progress being made on the facelift of GP-9 #7048 at Horseshoe Curve. This locomotive was built by EMD in December 1955. Number 7048 was retired in 1985 and was one of 270, 1750 hp units built.http://www.railroadcity.com/gallery/index.php?cat=52 |
