Government Liquidation is auctioning off two GE 80 ton locomotives located at the NWS Seal Beach, CA.When I last inspected Seal Beach in June 2005, I climbed around both locomotives. One has been outside on blocks since at least 2002 and has seen some limited scavenging. The other was in service up until around spring 2005 and is in operating condition. It has lived inside except when in use its entire career at Seal Beach.
