Remember when ALCO exited the locomotive business? For a few years afterwards the collectible market was full of ALCO items as former employees sold off their accumulated treasures, then it gradually dried up and nowadays pristine ALCO commercial and technical materials are much harder to find. It seems like the GM era collectibles from EMD are about to go through the same transition. Right now there are a lot of items out there, but a few years down the road most of these will have disappeared.Are any of the museums working on displays of EMD collectibles? There are a lot of items out there now, but they may be much harder to find in the future!

I've got a pre-EMD Winton gage. Would be willing to part with it to any museum who has Winton stuff or a Winton display or knows who Alexander Winton was.
