We are nearing the end of our operating season at the Illinois Railway Museum and invite you all to visit for the weekend of October8/9.We are hosting a 'meet' for the Old Woodworking Machine group in addition to trains running, our Harvest Days special event, and some Hit'n'Miss popping johnny engines should be set up for display and RUNNING.Those registered for the meet will be privy to access and special tours of many areas not generally open to the public, some very interesting shop demos, and a lot of tips and story swapping including a banquet Saturday night. It is not too late to sign up and register and you do not need to be a member of IRM or participate in the OWWM group to date.
