When still at Ottawa. If I recall, it was done up nicely like this, then got very bedraggled from sitting outdoors there. It later came to Delson, was redone, and was under cover last I heard.http://abpr.railfan.net/abprphoto.cgi?f ... enColl.jpg

SHe's impeccably refurbished at Delson and indoors. You enter the car body from the rear door and tour the interiors, which are completely labeled and repainted. You exit behind the fireman's seat and cross the cab to the engineers seat, then out the door. The loco is in the original CNR paint. Also at Delson is an FPA4, sitting next to Royal Hudson 2850, and both over a pit. Visitors can stand under both locos and look up to see that perspective. Delson has the last FM H24-66 and a huge collection of ALCO/MLW's. THeir steam collection is second to none, and the museum is expanding the building to keep the remainder of the collection under cover. The collection in the main shed is kept at 72F and 40% humidity year round. Delson is about 12 miles out of Montreal. Anyone planning atrip to Montreal should stop and see this outstanding collection. THis is a model for a government funded preservations site - excepting the lack of operable steam. THey run a trolley around the site and occassionally fire up a replica steamer, the "John Molson". Plans to run a CPR S4 on a 2 mile stretch are being considered. All North American railfans owe it to themselves to get to this Museum.
