Folks,

The Colonial sugar company of Viti Levu, Fiji Islands had a fleet of 24" British built steam engines. At least three of them are in the US. One is under steam at Edaville RR, one is in storage at the Alton & Pacific in Northern Califirnia and Conrad's book says that there was another owned by the estate of Tony Hulman at Terre Haute,IN back in 1988. Does anyone know where it is now? Also in what town/city in England was the John Fowler Company located?

John Fowler & Company was located in Leeds, England.

I thought I recalled hearing that the ex-Colonial Sugar Fowler 0-6-0T from the defunct Alton & Pacific RR in CA went to someplace in England.

The 0-6-0 tender engine at the new Edaville RR is a Hudswell-Clarke, not a Fowler.
