And condolences. As my wife and Lindsey Ashby know, the sweetest 3 words in English are "immediate past president", when applied to one's self in a non profit venue. Best wishes Molly. dave

Molly served as ARM Vice-President for the past year as part of an organizational succession plan. Paul Hammond, ARM President for the last six years stepped aside to allow Molly to assume the presidentcy while he has a year left on the Board of Directors.ARM Board of Directors decided the other year to informally limit a board member to no more than three concecutive three-year terms. I stepped aside the other year. This year we had two not continue and next year Paul will step off the board. The ARM Board welcomes the continued participation in the ARM organziation of past Board members.New members to the ARM Board are: Louis Hoffman of Minnesota Streetcar Museum and G. Mark Ray of Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. The continuing Board members are:Molly Butterworth - Museum of Transport Don Evans - West Coast Railway Heritage Park Paul Hammond - California State Railroad Museum Steve McGee - Tampa & Ybor City Street Railway Stephen Patrick - Bowie Railroad Station Museum Jim Schantz - Seashore Trolley Museum David Dunn - Railroad Museum of PennsylvaniaThe ARM strives for a Board that represents the variety of railway museums -- all volunteer, traction, steam, governmental with volunteer support, large, small, etc.
