The 5AT Advanced Steam Locomotive Project (http://www.5at.co.uk/) in the UK has requested some help for a presentation to an industry group there. The new locomotive will be equipped with light-weight roller bearing rods and reciprocating parts. These parts were relatively common on modern U.S. steam but are virtually unknown in the UK. The group is looking for photos of existing U.S. roller rod equipped engines showing details of the rods, crossheads, etc. to use in their presentation. A few remaining locomotives I can think of that qualify include the C&O 614, C&O 490, several ATSF 2900's, and N&W 611. If any of you could point me to on-line photos showing close-ups of the rods on these engines (or other roller-bearing rod engines), or if you have your own photos you'd be willing to share, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in Advance
