Another postcard, probably taken during its brief steam up in the early 1960s:http://cgi.ebay.com/real-photo-postcard-locomotive-train-1962_W0QQitemZ6568523857QQcategoryZ74725QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The 5021 was steamed up for operation during the 1961 Los Angeles County Fair. The chapter had a program within the last two years featuring 16mm movies of the 5021 in operation over 900 feet of track on the stocl siding on the fairgrounds. Not everything was working properly as a couple of teenagers had to throw sand on the track to keep traction as the sander was not working. It was sometime after this that the locomotive was moved to San Bernardino. The locomotive was returned to Pomona in 1977 after the visit of the SP4449 with the Freedom Train.
