Doing some publicity work somewhere, long ago. Not sure where roundhouse is, perhaps Bayshore, just south of San Francisco?http://cgi.ebay.com/OLD-RAILROAD-PHOTOS-1_W0QQitemZ6569785226QQcategoryZ35975QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

According to the most awesome book on Daylight engines by Mr. Robert J. Church, the image of the Bowker with a daylight was in April 1946 at San Jose after the Noon Daylight was reinstated after WWII.J

Hi,Was the JW Bowker used in one of teh episodes of "Casey Jones"? There is an episode where he is given an old locomotive to crash and fake a lawmans death. The locomotive looks an awful lot like the JW Bowker.Just curious.Stuart

My best guess would be Bayshore for the roundhouse photo as well. The turmtable drops a huge hint, and the scenery doesn't look much like Mission Bay (and it definitely is not San Jose, though the other photo may certainly have been taken there)
