The opening of the Newtown Square Railroad Museum had to be postponed till this saturday, 10/22 due to muddy conditions. Even with the cancellation over 300 people showed up and visited the museum last saturday. The site includes a PRR N-8 caboose, A 1917 Rutland & Vermont box car and a 1905 Alco 0-4-0 switcher as well as the 1895 freight station with many memories. It's located west of Philadelphia in Newtown Square, Pa, on rt 3 just west of rt 252. Drop by and say hello this saturday.Don Grant |
