#34 has recently been moved to off site storage (in the NS yard) along with several other unrestored pieces from the VMT collection, in an effort to "beautify" their facility. 34 is owned by the Roanoke Chapter, NRHS, and is on loan to VMT. Although much faded, the blue paint is authentic for its last years of service. Back when relationships were better between the museum and NRHS, many of us had ideas of event featuring Thomas's "big American cousin". |

I would be very curious to know when the locomotive worked in Nevada. I was under the inpression that all of the pit locomotives had been scrapped |
