Looks like in storage in the 1930s. An OSL engine, the only UP 2-8-0 saved with a square tender:http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/tarpac/gMVC072S.JPG?allow_track_link=1&track=022f2c9db3-407cb&pt=bidpay&sp=0

The locomotive which is in Nampa Idaho was cosmetically restored a number of years ago by a member of our staff, Matt Janssen. Matt, who also worked at the Heber Valley Railroad served as a fireman and eventual engineer on sister locomotive No 618.Matt Janssen has just completed the cosmetic restoration of Big Boy No 4023 for the new Kennefic Park in Omaha. A story of the restoration will be presented to the board for review in the coming days.See more of Matt's work at www.wasatch-rr-contractors.comRespectfully,John E. Rimmasch
