As far as #2700 goes, JJJ of OC still had many of her parts in safe keeping, although whether or not he got everything out of Minerva, or that everything went from St. Albans to Minerva in the first place is anybody's guess ---- I know her other step for the front, her injector exhaust, and other items were definitely safe at Morgan Run --- not sure on other items. Dennison Railroad Museum now has clear title to her, I understand. Some parts of her were used on #6325, but were basic --- I think the front screen on #6325 is from #2700, but otherwise the rest of her is in storage. I can tell you this much ---- the few days spent painting her cured me of EVER wanting to paint a Lima Berkshire again!TJG

I believe you are correct. 2732 was moved correctly to a new site. I was in her at the old site and was surprised to see how much of her is still intact. There are enough C&O Kanawhas around that an operable locomotive could be rebuilt, if not several. Newport News has an excellent example, and the Lynchburg locomotive is actually in better shape than appearences would have led us to believe.2700 was on eBay at one time, but is upfor sale through a broker, iirc.
