 Post subject: Southern Railway Drawings
PostPosted: Thu Jul 05, 2001 9:31 pm

If any of you out there have access to any Southern Railway drawings, I am looking for drawings SL-2072 and SL-5025. These will help with the restoration of SR 630 and quite possibly SR 722 as well. I presume the SL stands for steam locomotive. I got these numbers from drawing SL-1235 which is the original boiler drawing for #630. SL-5025 contains the boiler sections and SL-2072 shows the new tube layout after the superheater was applied. Having these additional drawings will greatly aid in completing the boiler calcs and making a replacement front tube sheet!

Please drop me an email if you know of someplace for me to look. Thanks so much.
