I saw this on railswap.org today. It seems like a great opportunity to get some hard to find parts for those of us who are doing (or want to in the future) full mechanical restorations on our passenger cars.

Illinois Transit Assembly Corp. has a large amount of undercar dc type equipment removed in the normal course of business of rebuilding passenger cars. All is 32, 64 or 110 volt dc to include a/c systems, motor alternators (including Solex Solid State systems), Spicer generators, battery boxes...etc plus interior electrical lockers. We also have equipment under cars waiting to be removed. This includes NS and CSXT Office Cars and Budd domes. All is free to qualified persons/groups. Must carry Liability Insurance and Worker's Comp to remove equipment off cars (you will be supervised). Loose material will be loaded on your truck via our forklift. All persons coming on ITAC's property, will be required to sign a release. ITAC reserves the right to determine who takes this material. Please call as it all gets loaded in the metal dumpster on August 31, 2001. Thank you!
