Post subject:  Journal Lubricators question

Would anyone happen to know which size journal lubricators or journal pads that a former Erie Stillwell passenger car would require? We are going to replace the ones on our car for the first time but aren't sure which size (new) ones to get. I received a listing from Unity Railway Supply in Bensenville, IL that has the following sizes - 4-1/4 x 8, 5 x 9, 5-1/2 x 10, 6 x 11, 6-1/2 x 12, or 7x14. Anyone know which size is the right ones to get?

Thanks,

Rob,

if you jack up a journal and remove the brass it is generally marked as to the size. I would suspect that they are 5 X 9 Journals.
