It is owned by a machinist that works for the Mt. Rainier. I am not sue exactly how got into this individuals hands as he either bought it from the former owner who had it up at Ashford for years, or he bought it from the Mt. Rainier. The other Heisler that the person up in Ashford owned is also at the shop in Mineral.

As for the news that you may not know, according to one of the engineers up there that I spoke with, the Mt Rainier is going to be taking possession of 3-truck Willamette, Rayoner #2 some time this fall. It is currently in an individuals shed in his back yard in Port Angeles, Washington. I believe that the owner will be the Western Forest Industries Museum, which is the title owner of most of the Mt. Rainier's equipment. The person I spoke to said they were taking title from the current owner, but I am not sue who "they" are.

Sorry, no photos. I do not own a slide scanner.

Locie #2 will remain at MRSR at least through the summer. She may find her life's work at a proposed theme park.

Side-tanker #7 will remain at MRSR through the summer, after which it may be trucked to the owner's site in California.

Both engines might see some limited use on MRSR passenger trains later in the summer.
