Appears to be at Railroad Camp in 1969. It had operated within the previous year or two. I'm told there is nothing left at this site today, though diesel operation, with Baldwins, continued into the 1980s. No. 38 was on display when the site was cleared and is said to have come near scrapping, which brought about its dismantled state in California today. Would be nice to see it back at Jamestown, reassembled.http://www.toltecimages.com/trains/late ... s/4038.jpg

The boiler/cab and frame/running gear are stored as separate pieces in McCloud, CA. The owner moved the tender north to Oregon a couple years ago now.Jeff MooreElko, NV
