Yeah, I'll suffer through the N&W paint in exchange for the transformation. See? Not all railroad news is bleak! Maybe they'll get a chance to run her someday.

Well it sorta hurts to lose the chance to do something with something. But I guess it has more real possiblities in Crewe than it did with the Virginia Central. When the time came to move it from Intervale, we did preliminary ultra sound to see what it would need. Every thing came back good with one exception. It really wouldn't take much to get her running again... Here's to hoping the folks in Crewe have more luck with her!!!
