Hi All

This might be of interest to some of the "trolley" guys out there. Since early spring crews have been busy rehabilitating the Lackawanna and Wyoming Valley Interurban line from downtown Scranton, PA to Montage Mountain Road, a distance of about 5 miles. When its finished, hopefully next year, the line will see both freight and trolley traffic from Scranton's "Electric City Trolley". The line features several bridges and a mile long (almost) tunnel, which will make for a hell of a ride when its done. I took a few pictures earlier this month, check out...

That's absolutely incredible. It's amazing what you can do with an enormous amount of money. Or maybe it isn't. Anyway, do you know whether ECTM is hoping to get in some high-speed operation? This looks like a line on which they could replicate the same type of fast operation the Laurel Line did!
