Post subject:  Earl Bathurst at Barry

Built at Great Western Railway Swindon Works, 1936 as Drysyllyn Castle, renamed Earl Bathurst the following year, withdrawn and sold to Woodhams in 1963. Sold for preservation, 1970. Presently said to be operational at Didcot Railway Centre. Shown here still at the scrap yard in 1968:
