Well in 1937 it had all it`s outer shielding metel. It dosen`t today. and it ran in 37 too. lol.

Bob:

I've often wondered why BLW numbered this engine as 26. Was the engine destined for some company or railroad as their # 26 and not delivered? Or, was this the 26th engine that Baldwin had used to switch their complex? If the later, are there photos of any of the 25 locomotives that preceded 0-6-0 # 26?

Speaking of this switcher; It used to look real good runnning around the grounds of Steamtown NHS.

I assume that it is getting a Form 4 level overhaul at this point, but it has not been operational in a very long time!

Steam town is not doing well lately, the lack of this switcher is part of the prooblem.
