A still-abuilding recreation of the Southern Pacific Shasta Division, Black Butte Sub, in HO scale. It will be centered at the terminal of Dunsmuir, California, circa 1952, with an impressive track plan by the late John Armstrong. Though it appears to be located in a private home, such a model railroad that actually replicates history could easily be the star attraction of a local historical society museum, and could probably obtain donations of money, materials and equipment for its construction. http://www.spshastaroute.com/ |
