There was a thread on RYPN back in late Novemeber, early December about the troubles Whitewater Valley was having with a shortline freight railroad--now the thread seems to have vanished?

Does anyone know what happened to the thread?

The track use matter has not been resolved and awaits an STB ruling.

The shortline is still holding NYC 6894. Perhaps they think it will force us into signing a trackage use agreement (before the STB makes a ruling). We really have no idea what their plan is at this point.

Thanks for the link ... I'm just curious why a search of "Whitewater" doesn't pull up this thread? Is there a problem with the search engine on the interchange?

You're right, it should have showed up.

Have to look in to that.
