I like to see whole websites devoted to a single locomotive, as they give some meaning to the purpose of saving them. This is one devoted to a British Railways Western Region 0-6-0T, built in 1952 and maintained in working order at the Quainton Railway Centre in Buckinghamshire. Sent to the Barry scrapyard in 1965, it was removed in 1975 and has since gone through a second overhaul after its initial revival.

Bob,

I'll pass your comments on to Bruce. Before anyone is allowed anywhere near 9466 make sure you know how to polish things! I've driven & fired it this year. It's a very pleasant machine to drive, fire and generally be around - if only that was true of all locos and I'm no fan of the Great Western Railway.
