Quite an interesting history of this 22-inch gauge operation across the pond. Two steam locomotives remain preserved. It had a spiral tunnel to connect different levels of the brewery, much like some model railroads have. The story was written in 1968. What's left there today? http://www.irsociety.co.uk/Archives/22/Guinness.htm A bit more here: http://www.greywall.demon.co.uk/rail/beer.html |
