 Post subject: Railroad museum of New England,,,site clean up

I understand that the railroad museum of new england,,,must clean up there work site in Old Saybrook ,Ct....The museum has had their equipment stored there for a number of years......

The equipment stored there,, is varyes,, from coaches,,to locomotives,,I guess the people who there ,,,want something done,,,the NIMBY,,is what is going on now...

Could somebody from the museum,,,please coment,,,on this,,,....

Also the State which leases,,the tracks in which the Valley railroad runs on,,they want something done also,,,with the equipment..

Just how much of the equipment,,can be moved???thank you...Pat

Didn't the Indiana Transportation Museum in Noblesville, In have a similar request/demand from local authorities ? As I recall it was site clean up only, not a need to actually move the site and related equipment.
