Correct, Harlan Hiney was the painter. It was in amongst a bunch of Foggs and I did not look close enough. The title is also incorrect, as I believe this locomotive last ran on Vancouver Island about 1958. I don't think there's much, if any, CNR track left there today, though they seem to be making some progress as saving the CPR route. |

This painting is actually from a photo. Nicely done. The photo was published in "Canadian Steam" by David P Morgan. Definitely one of my favourite scenes showing the majesty of the branchline freight in hardy surroundings. |
