Thanks Bob for posting this. Ken Riddle and the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University have contributed to this collection and it has since taken off via the web as numerous descendants of the families of the narrow gauge railroaders are sending in more items. They have begun work on a Railroad Historic District in Johnson City, TN. The Tweetsie line was fairly incredible in scenery and storytelling/folklore. |

He has just put up a bunch of color stuff (plus other shots) that most people have not seen. Glad that you are enjoying it. I think he is doing a bang-up job on the site. |
