A class 44 (three-cylinder coal burner) on display in the village center of Altenbeken:

A class 43 (oil burner) that pulled the last revenue freight train in West Germany in 1997, now displayed at the hauptbahnhof in Emden (north Germany) from which it last ran:

Post subject:  Just the front

Attatched to a brick building (engine shed?) at Halle. From the wheel on the smokebox, I presume this is the East German city of Halle, not the smaller one in the west.
