Well its been almost two years since I have last posted on this bord.

We were never able to obtain the Touralux or the coach in Kenosha Wisconsin. What have we done in the past two years......

We have made great progress on our Signal Displays. CP Rail gave us a SearchLight Signal, one of our members (a Signal Maintainer) is currentl working on a circuit to have the signal change aspects on its own. Last summer two of our members went down to central Illinois to photograph and camcord the color position signals on the UP (ex Chicago & Alton). While they were down their they ran into a UP Employee that was able to get us a Color Position Signal donated by the UP. We have also been given many items from that persons private colection including a set of Link & Pin Couplers. The other positive is we have recently have been receving donations were we are now able to do some projects that we had to put off. As of now 2006 is looking very bright for us also.

I know the coach ended up getting scrapped, but what ever became of the Touralux?

From what I have been told by several people, the car is no longer on Jones Island in Milwaukee Wisconsin. We were not in the finical position at the time to go after the car. We are a small museum located in a village park. How ever we are now in the position of expanding or museum. We have discovered another passenger car that is far better shape than the touralux and may fit our needs just at well. But before we get our heads to deep, we need to find some one that can tell us if the car could be transported by rail from its current location. If cranes and an over the road hall is needed we would not be able to move the car and purchase it at this time. As this car is in Iowa and we are located between Chicago & Milwaukee in Wisconsin. If any knows of people that can help us inspect this car to see if it's rail worthey please let me know.

email me at mslater@wi.rr.com and put in the subject WUJRRC pass car
