Much-published photo, but a nice one. The roundhouse was razed a few years ago, but some sources say the turntable is available for sale. Whovever thought we'd see one of these locomotives run again, especially by the original owning company?

The 2803 and 2814 appear in our new video, "Donald J. Kroftas' Canadian Steam Vol. 1", which will be released this week. It covers CN & CP steam in western and southern Ontario from June to November, 1958. The 2803 is seen at the CPR Windsor roundhouse and the 2814 is shown on a freight running between Windsor and London and at the London roundhouse. Also, there is a sequence of Royal Hudson 2838 at the London CPR roundhouse.
This will be on DVD only and runs an hour and 16 minutes.
