Much-published photo, but a nice one. The roundhouse was razed a few years ago, but some sources say the turntable is available for sale. Whovever thought we'd see one of these locomotives run again, especially by the original owning company? http://www.ebpm.com/rr/bigpix/fan_rrsteam030.html |

The 2803 and 2814 appear in our new video, "Donald J. Kroftas' Canadian Steam Vol. 1", which will be released this week. It covers CN & CP steam in western and southern Ontario from June to November, 1958. The 2803 is seen at the CPR Windsor roundhouse and the 2814 is shown on a freight running between Windsor and London and at the London roundhouse. Also, there is a sequence of Royal Hudson 2838 at the London CPR roundhouse. This will be on DVD only and runs an hour and 16 minutes. |
