Dear Interchange readers:

recently a post appeared soliciting funds for a specific project. Prior to now we have had an informal policy requesting that solicitations be submitted to the RyPN editorial staff to run as Briefs under editorial supervision. After consulting with the RyPN staff overnight we're elevating this to a formal policy; thus, I have removed this thread.

However, we are also planning some exciting new features for RyPN to roll out in the months to come. One of these is going to be a new forum for posting job listings, avialable items, announcements of opportunities, and solicitiations. Hume Kading, the hardest-working man on the RyPN staff, is prototyping the new features as we speak. Look for an editorial in the weeks to come explaining the new features when they become available.

For now, however, please submit solicitations as Briefs, and be aware that any financial solicitations should be sent by an authorized officer of the organization making the appeal.

Best,

Erik Ledbetter
RyPN Board of Directors
