I've always thought it's a shame that there is so few NYC steam engines around anymore, and it just came to me that I see two examples every day. Of course there is the ex MCRR 254 4-4-2 http://www.thehenryford.org/exhibits/pic/2000/00.jun.html But the De Witt Clinton is also courtesy of NYC, even though it is a replica. http://www.thehenryford.org/exhibits/pic/2004/replicas/dewitt.asp There's also a neat photo I've never seen before of the De Witt Clinton on its way to a fair.
