Its my understanding that the LANSDOWNE is afloat again. For those that don't know, she has been sunk at Erie since Christmas. No word on her (or the Hiawatha cars) ultimate fate, but evidently the owners and Erie know of the Hiawatha cars significance; there are also efforts afoot to save her engines (sadly, both paddlewheels are gone, although one was saved at the Dossin Museum in Detroit); updates to come.
