Bob,

Yes, it's the tender from L&N 278. The 278 was an L&N K5 class pacific that's a copy of a USRA light pacific design. The tender in the photos is a tender it carried later in it's life, with the expanded water capacity.

Would this be a good tender to put behind TVRM's CN Pacific 5288 when it is rebuilt as a Southern Ry PS-1?
