Post subject:  Wolfeboro #250 winter scene *PIC*

It seemed appropriate to post this today, after receiving 12+" of fresh snow here in the northeast.

Found this picture of Wolfeboro 2-6-2 #250 plowing across Crescent Lake causeway in winter. The date of the photo is unknown, but due to the engine having her original tender it is likely to have to been the winter of 1975.

One of the neat things about this railroad was that the operating agreement demanded the line be kept open year round -- thus making scenes like this possible. Another reason why so many remember this railroad so fondly.
