Just a note of thanks to all who attended last evening. A special thank you to Alan Maples for coming all the way from PA and for giving me the nice photo. We also had some representatives from Whitewater Valley in attendence. In all, there were about 40 or so visitors for the presentation which lasted about 1 1/2 hours before a q and a at the end. James, A nicely done program. The use of powerpoint opens a lot of possibilities for those of us previously stuck in the "slide show" age. I also appreciate that your program was open to the public and hosted by the Kentucky Folk Art Center - many of us would do well to emulate this kind of outreach. And of course it was fun to learn about an intriguing short line and to catch up with old friends. Alan Maples |
