Illinois Railway Museum has its own Yahoo group for discussion, that many might find valuable. There is a lot of detailed discussion of ongoing projects and techniques used in restoration, plus many photos of them in the photos section. Yes, it is a good way to keep current on news and views. Several hundred members, but I should point out it is NOT an official IRM site, but run by two of our members who 'own' and 'moderate' the site. Opinions are NOT those of IRM management or policy. Bob Kutella |
