That is a beautiful locomotive from her Elesco feedwater heater in the front to that magnificent Vanderbilt tender in the rear.. I know about her cracked left cylinder, but IMHO, this should be the next operational restoration at Steamtown. |

While she was still in service GTW moderized her with disc drivers on all 4 axles, replacing the spoked originals: http://www.rnbphoto.com/Steamtown/Steamtown-Pages/Image6.html Hence, she has disc drivers today at Steamtown. |
