Post subject:  New Deadline for Steamship Nobska

The National Trust has seen fit to post a "Preservation 911" page for the Nobska on their website. Looks like the NPS has given the New England Steamship Foundation a reprieve until sometime this summer, but at the same time sent out an RFP for her scrapping.
The Nobska needs to have her hull buttoned-up before she can be floated and moved out of her current home, a dry dock in the former Charlestown Navy Yard (also home to the USS Constitution).
She was built at Bath Iron Works in Maine, and although it seems obvious I'm curious if the NESF has ever approached BIW for support.
