One of three extant FW&D steam locomotives, at Wichita Falls, Texas, last year: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... ?id=128078 As built, these were the same as the C&S B4R class (638 and 641 extant), but the C&S engines got heavy rebuildings at the Joint Shops in Denver, in the 1920s, with new cylinders, valve gear, etc.. |
