The Golden gate RR Museum has two 0-6-0 switch engines. As noted the State Belt Line loco and Southern Pacific 1227 locomotive that came out of a park in Alameda, California. It was the last park display locomotive in the nearby BayArea. I do hope it was the SP 1227 engine that they sold as the Belt Line switcher was a home town survivor which they had gotten back from Utah. Ted Miles |
