Post subject:  D&S builds new Silver Vista

In the early 1950s, the D&RGW built a glass-topped observation car for the Silverton run, called the Silver Vista. After just a bit of use, the car was badly burned in a shop fire at Alamosa, and not rebuilt. D&S is now building a new version of the popular car:

Was the frame of the first Silver Vista rebuilt into something else?

The original was based on a wood-framed coach. There would have been nothing left but the truss rods.
