Post subject:  Three Valley Gap, BC question

Heritage museum here that has several railcars, a roundhouse of sorts and turntable, plus one of the much-traveled 0-4-0Ts from NY State's defunct Rail City and a 2-6-2 with a big Rushton stack. The 2-6-2 looks a lot like Argent Lumber 5. Has it moved up from Nevada City, California? Video here:

Apparently, the 2-6-2 is this former John Thompson standard gauge engine, which has been privately-owned in Alberta since the early 1970s. Its last operation was for Rapides Gravel Co. at Woodworth, Louisiana. It was a woodburner, hence the big smokestack.

Post subject:  Re: Three Valley Gap, BC turntable?

I see the roundhouse with tracks in it arrayed as though there was a turntable, but no table, just a concrete area where the pit would go. Text for the site mentions a turntable but you would think it far easier to install one before the building was roofed over. Does anyone know if these folks have one? If so what line and location is it from and how long is it? I've sent them an inquiry a few weeks back but gotten no reply.
