Rumor has it that the Canadian Pacific Hudson #2816 will be under steam sometime this month in North Vancouver.

Does anyone know if this is true??

Thats good to hear. The next question would be "do they have a date planned for a test run"??

Please don't tell me "that happened yesterday":)

Okay, I won't, but you better shut down your computer, get your shoes on, and get out the door. CP has scheduled three days of testing on 25 miles of the Cascade Sub between Coquitlam Yard and Mission. B.C. August 16...TODAY!!

I can't seem to open the photo. All I see is a little white box with a red "x" in it.

Sorry about that. The URL is from Yahoo Groups, and unless you subscribe to a group you won't see the picture. I've saved it and uploaded it to my own web space. You should see it now.

Nice picture. She looks like a happy engine popping off like that!

Some firemen curse an engine for popping off, but it is nice to see this one do it. It means her boiler is fine.
