It is rare that one of our own is honored in a non-railroad venue for an activity which is so closely related to the purpose of this company. We extend our felicitations to Brother Levin and his lady. GME Colonel, Cavalry, USA(R) Ret. http://www.phoenixvillenews.com/site/printerFriendly.cfm?brd=1673&dept_id=17915&newsid=16380989 |

I concurr wholeheartedly with Col. Edwards' sentiments. I posted the article to Flimsies earlier and I trust the moderators will approve it. Michael E. Allen LTC FA USAR (Ret.) |

I had the pleasure of personally thanking Mr. Levin. He told me that a business in my boro had also helped by donating supplies, so I mentioned that in a short speech at my boro's council meeting, also adding a bit about how various railroads and other businesses had helped the Levins make it happen. The effort may help a bit when the public has a complaint about the local crossing gates, for example. |
