Formerly EJ&E 222 built 1/1940. The unit was sold to Material Services Corp in 12/67. If you look closely, the front headlight number board appears to still carry 222 in it. Is it available for donation or for sale? Thanks.

I've worked 20 hours in the past two days so I haven't had time to respond. I will forward the contact and phone number to the interested people. I was told that they have parked the locomotive and aren't using it any more but it is in running condition. I don't know anything more. If it is for sale or donation you will have to discuss that with the contact.

Here's a clue I just found. The locomotive was sold through an auction site just 4 months ago.

Judging by the photo it has not moved from the quarry since it has been sold. Makes me speculate if it can't move.

I'm not sure. I was thinking maybe they used trucks or didn't have use for something so old? Or maybe a deal fell through to sell it? I wish I knew.
